Globally, the United Women of Faith is a one-million-member organization. Our purpose is to foster spiritual growth, develop leaders, and advocate for justice. Members raise more than $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children, and youth in the United States as well as in more than 100 countries around the world.

At First Church, the UMF unit is a vital, energetic organization where friendships are made, and support is given. Monthly meetings (usually on the fourth Thursday of each month) are interesting and informative. Two major fundraisers consisting of fruit cake sales, and a Christmas cookie walk help support many local and worldwide missions. 

The UWF hosts a variety of events throughout the year and also provides funeral luncheons for families of church members who have lost loved ones.
